All of our games are played at our WOYSA Soccer Complex. Our address is 200 Bill Golson Rd West Monroe LA 71292. All regular season games are scheduled on Saturday, but in the event of a rainout, games will be made up during the week.
Our Spring 2026 season kickoffs on March 14th and will end May 9th. No games will be scheduled on Easter Weekend. The WOYSA Cup (our end of the season tournament) will be May 11th-16th.
Our draft is for our 8U, 10U, 13U, and 16U divisions. Minis and 6U do not have a draft. The draft is to ensure a competitive balance between all of our teams in each division.
Spring 2025 Draft Day/Tryouts will be held at WOYSA on January 17th, 2026. New players in a division must go through the draft. Only exceptions are coaches kids or a sibling is already on a team. If you are unable to attend the draft, your kid will be placed on a team via a blind draw. 8U-16U cannot request certain coaches or teammates. Minis and 6U can request coaches and teammates and we will honor the request if we are able.
Each coach is responsible for scheduling their practices. All teams should be practicing at least once per week (weather permitting). Practice time and location is up to the individual coach. Each coach will be given practice guidelines for their specific division during our coaches meeting.
You should hear from your coach 10-14 days after the draft. We have to build out rosters for over 40 teams and hold our coaches meeting. prior to contacting parents.
A full uniform (jersey, shorts, and socks) is included in your sign up fee. All players must wear shin guards and cleats for all games. No baseball or football cleats allowed.
